Keepers at Flamingo Land zoo are proudly showing off their latest arrival – a baby Rothschild’s giraffe.
The six-foot tall male calf, who is yet to be named, was born at 1am last Friday at Flamingo Land near Malton.
Rothschild’s giraffes are part of an EEP (European Endangered species Programme), in which zoos around Europe work together to breed and protect the animals.
